The Food Team has been doing more visits to our pubs and following up on interest in Jumbucks/Fosters Pie & A Pint deal.
Black Prince, Newport
The new tenant is looking to start Sunday lunches and breakfasts to make use of the existing kitchen facilities in the pub. We suggested menu ideas and showed them all the information and help on this website. We will be coming back next month to do a day's free training on food hygiene.
Toby Jug, Blackwood
Another new tenant keen to start food and maximise the opportunities in his pub. We advised on kitchen work required to bring it up to standard before able to serve food, which they are now working on.
Travellers Rest, Halifax
Following successful survey of the pub the tenants now have use of a free oven from Jumbucks to run the Pie & a Pint deal with Fosters.
Harp, Huddersfield
We visited this pub again to give the tenant further advice on food safety regulations to make sure he is working within the law.
