This week we have been following up enquiries for the free Jumbucks pie heater and doing training in our pubs.
Turners, Cheshunt
We advised the tenant and chef on ways to improve profit through regular stock taking, portion control, accurate dish costing and reducing the menu choices to avoid wastage. These are going to be put into practice and we will be visiting the pub again next month to see how they are progressing.
White Lion, Wellington
We advised on what work was required to bring the kitchen up to operational standard and helped with some menu ideas to get them started with food.
White Horse, Gosport
The tenants wanted advise on costs involved in converting an area in the pub into a kitchen. We explained the work involved which they are now looking into.
Star Inn, Isle of Wight
We carried out a survey at this pub to follow up their enquiry for a free Jumbucks oven and hope to be serving pies in the pub soon.
Gas House Tavern, Bradford
We did a Training Day at the pub to give them confidence in serving their new menu. See their testimonial on the left of this page.
Darfield Hotel, Barnsley
Another follow up visit for the free Jumbucks pie oven. We will be visiting again to help get them started.
Wear Tavern, Sunderland
We discussed menu ideas with the tenant and chef and they hope to be starting simple bar snacks very soon.
