You may well have read in the press that VT Group has been acquired by Babcock International Group PLC. The merger of the two companies will see Babcock as the leading support services company in the UK, with a substantial footprint on international markets. The takeover was completed on 8th July 2010.
The training business within Babcock will continue to operate as before, although the branding has changed from VT Group to Babcock. You can look forward to the same high standards of service you have come to expect. You will continue to work with the same members of our teams at all levels - from senior managers to learning advisers. There will be no impact on the way they work with clients; it will be business as usual from your learning provider.
What will become apparent is that as part of Babcock we will be a larger and stronger organisation, in a better position to bid for Government funding on the behalf of clients and more able to meet the needs of individual businesses.
