Everyone loves a good event/party so why not plan ahead and aim to do something a little different? Attract new customers and get people talking about your pub!
Why not plan something around the upcoming dates to make that bit of extra money:-
Wed 5th October - World Teacher's day (why not write to local schools offering 2-for-1 of a meal for their hard working staff?)
Wed 12th October - National Spanish day (dish up paella, tapas, omelettes . . . hmmm!)
Mon 31st October - Halloween (homemade soup, chili con carne, jacket potatoes filled with a variety of things.)
Sat 5th November - remember remember Guy Fawkes! Why not serve up something warm and comforting?
Tue 8th November - Gordon Ramsey's birthday. why not hold a cooking competition or serve up some of his dishes.
Sat 12th November - In for a penny . . . On this day in 1984 pound notes were out and quid coins were in! Why not sell chips for £1 on this day?
Sun 13th November - Remembrance Sunday.
Thu 24th November - Thanksgiving USA. why not do a thanksgiving meal for your customers?
Wed 30th Nov - St Andrew's Day. Get out the Bagpipes & tartan and serve up some Haggis, neaps & tatties. Irn Bru and whisky to warm you up.
You can't forget Christmas. Get those dec's up, mince pies out and into the Christmas spirit. Think of all the great Christmas food that you could do in this month.
New Year . . . We're having a party!! Count down to 2012.
