Vegetable based spirits- rum, tequila and some vodkas which can be made from potatoes

Rum

Made in many parts of the world, almost anwhere where sugar cane is cultivated.

Can be white through to dark brown in colour and is usually 37.5-50% abv

Tequila

Distilled from the fermented juice of the cactus-live Agave plant/ mezcal plant

Tequila is a village in central Mexico

Don't drink water the morning after drinking tequila because the effects of the tequila will return!
